Shipping and pickup
Shipping availability and charges appear at checkout or in the written quote. Production scheduling and carrier transit are separate parts of the order, and Alaska weather and remote destinations can affect both.
1. Shipping methods and destinations
Available methods and charges are based on the order, package, destination, and carrier options shown at checkout or in the accepted quote. If a destination or product cannot be supported by the selected method, we will contact you before shipment to agree on a lawful alternative or cancel the affected part of the order.
The public site and its online ordering are directed to United States customers and destinations. An international destination is available only when Blue Moose expressly accepts it in a written quote.
2. Production dates and carrier estimates
A requested date is not confirmed until a person reviews the artwork, product, quantity, production method, and current shop schedule. Carrier transit information is an estimate from the carrier, not a Blue Moose guarantee. Weather, road and air service, remote delivery, carrier volume, customs, and events outside reasonable control may affect it.
We will ship within the time stated in the accepted order or provide the delay notice, revised information, cancellation choice, and refund required by applicable law. We will not substitute materially different goods without approval.
3. Address responsibility
Review the recipient name, street address, unit, city, region, postal code, and contact information before submitting the order. Tell us immediately about an error. An address change is not effective until Blue Moose confirms it, and a carrier may charge for an intercept, correction, or reshipment caused by an incorrect customer-supplied address.
4. Tracking and split shipments
We provide tracking when the selected carrier makes it available. An order may ship in more than one package when products, suppliers, or destinations require it. A partial shipment does not mean the remainder was cancelled; the order record or a shop message will identify the status.
5. Local pickup
- Wait until Blue Moose confirms that the order is ready for pickup.
- Bring the order number and, when requested, identification or pickup authorization.
- Inspect package count and obvious exterior damage before leaving when practical.
- Tell us in advance if another person will collect the order.
We may hold an order when the pickup person cannot reasonably be matched to the customer or authorization. Storage or disposition of an order left for an extended period will be handled under the written order terms and applicable law after reasonable notice.
6. Damaged, missing, or misdelivered packages
Contact us promptly with the order number, tracking information, photos of the package and contents, and a description of what is missing or damaged. Keep the product, labels, and packaging while the carrier or Blue Moose reviews the claim. Do not send an item back without return instructions.
If tracking says delivered but the package is not present, check the delivery location, household or receiving staff, and carrier notice, then contact us. We will help review carrier information and provide the remedy required by the order terms and applicable law. The returns and remedies policy applies to product defects and Blue Moose errors.
7. Risk of loss
Risk of loss and title pass when the order is delivered to the address or authorized pickup recipient, except where the accepted order or applicable law provides otherwise. This section does not remove a right you have for an undelivered, damaged, or misrepresented order.
