Effective August 22, 2026
Privacy policy
This policy explains the information Blue Moose Designs handles through this public site, its design tools, orders, and organization stores. It does not cover our private staff systems.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we collect:
- Contact and identity information: name, email address, phone number, organization, and account or member identifiers.
- Order and transaction information: products, quantities, sizes, options, order history, billing and shipping addresses, pickup details, quotes, proofs, approvals, allowances, and transaction status.
- Artwork and project information: uploaded files, designs, logos, instructions, messages, production specifications, file metadata, and records of your rights confirmation.
- Account and access information: sign-in requests, session identifiers, organization-store access, and security events. Passwordless sign-in links and access codes are used to establish a session; we do not display them in order records.
- Device and site information: IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, error and security logs, and essential cookie data.
- Communications: messages, support requests, and records needed to respond or resolve an order concern.
Card payments are completed on a Stripe-hosted page. Blue Moose receives transaction identifiers, status, amount, and limited card details such as brand and last digits when made available, but not the full card number or security code.
2. Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you, automatically from the browser when necessary to operate and secure the site, from an organization that sponsors or administers a store, and from providers involved in payment, hosting, storage, communications, shipping, product supply, or production.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide carts, design tools, accounts, organization stores, quotes, and checkout;
- review artwork, prepare proofs, produce, fulfill, ship, and support orders;
- process payments, allowances, invoices, refunds, taxes, and accounting records;
- send requested sign-in links and transactional order communications;
- verify eligibility, authorization, artwork rights, and organization-store access;
- prevent fraud, abuse, malicious uploads, and security incidents;
- diagnose errors and improve the reliability and usability of the site;
- comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims; and
- complete a business transaction such as a merger or asset transfer, subject to law.
4. When we disclose information
We disclose only what is reasonably needed to:
- use providers for cloud hosting, databases, private file storage, security, communications, payment processing, accounting, shipping, and support;
- give carriers, suppliers, or approved production partners the information needed to fulfill an order;
- give an organization-store sponsor limited information needed to administer eligibility, allowances, products, or the store agreement;
- follow your direction or complete a transaction you requested;
- respond to lawful process, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or enforce an agreement; or
- complete a business transfer, with appropriate notice and safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and this site does not use advertising cookies or third-party ad pixels.
5. Cookies and similar storage
The site uses essential cookies for store routing, carts, design return, passwordless sign-in, and private organization-store access. It does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. The names, purposes, and typical duration are listed in our cookie notice.
6. Advertising, analytics, and social-media technologies
Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Google Analytics or Ads tags, TikTok Pixel, and comparable third-party advertising or optional analytics tools are not active on this storefront. Blue Moose does not currently send website-event data or customer matching data to those providers from this site.
Before any such tool is activated, we will identify the provider and configuration, update this policy and the cookie notice, place a clear notice on pages where the tool operates, and provide consent, rejection, withdrawal, opt-out, and browser-signal handling required for the people and locations affected. An optional tool will not load before a required choice is made.
Depending on a future configuration, these tools can receive a page URL, IP address, browser or device information, referring page, page views, button or form interactions, cart or purchase events, order value and currency, and identifiers or contact information transformed for matching. A provider such as Meta may use that data for measurement, attribution, audience creation, personalization, and advertising under its own terms and privacy policy. Any activation notice will say which events and fields are actually enabled and will link to the provider’s current privacy information and choices.
Meta describes its general data practices in the Meta Privacy Policy. This reference does not mean a Meta tool is active on the Blue Moose storefront.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including to maintain order, proof, production, accounting, warranty, security, and dispute records; comply with legal duties; and protect the rights of Blue Moose, our customers, and organizations. Retention depends on the record type and applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it where reasonably possible.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and our business. These include restricted staff access, private artwork storage, signed upload and download links, protected session cookies, and a hosted payment page so full card data does not pass through our application. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, receive a portable copy, or limit certain processing where applicable law provides that right. You may also object to or appeal a privacy decision where your law requires a process for doing so.
We may verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and confirmation from the person concerned. We may keep information needed for an order, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or a claim. We will not discriminate against you for using a privacy right.
We currently send transactional messages tied to a request, account, quote, or order. If we offer marketing email later, each marketing message will include the required way to stop future marketing messages.
Because optional advertising and analytics tools are not active, there is currently no Blue Moose advertising-cookie preference to save. If those tools are introduced, the available controls and any legally recognized browser preference signals will be described here and in the cookie notice before activation.
10. Children’s privacy
This is a general-audience commercial site and is not directed to children under 13. Parents, guardians, coaches, and authorized organization representatives should place orders and submit personal information for younger participants. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13. If you believe that happened, contact us so we can review and delete it as required.
11. Third-party services and links
Stripe handles hosted payment under its own privacy policy. A carrier, supplier, organization, or linked website may also have its own privacy practices. This policy covers Blue Moose’s handling of information, not the independent practices of another party. Review a third party’s terms before giving it information.
12. Processing location
Blue Moose is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to their contracts and applicable law.
This site and its online ordering are directed to United States customers. We do not target marketing through this site to people in the European Union or European Economic Area, and we do not use optional advertising or behavioral-analytics tools to monitor their activity. A visit from another location does not itself create an offer of service there. This policy still describes how we handle information received through the site, and it does not waive rights that applicable law makes nonwaivable.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site, our practices, providers, or law. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. We will not use previously collected information for a materially different purpose without the notice or consent required by law.
