# Installation and connection

The instructions work for one job without installation. Permanent installation, upgrades and the installation location require the assistant owner's explicit permission. Show the source, version and requested files, then use the host's supported skill installer. Installation grants no account access, upload permission or purchasing authority.

Package version: 2.0.0. The downloadable skills ZIP contains root plugin.json, skills, checksum inventory and optional local helper source with pinned dependencies. Review the [published hashes](../../../manifest.json) through the shop's trusted distribution. Hashes prove matching bytes, not trust in an unknown source. No installed dependencies, credentials or background service are bundled. The plugin manifest describes this package; it is not a verified connector installer for every host.

To connect the remote service, add `https://edgevinyl.akwigglebutts.com/api/agents/mcp` using the host's documented remote MCP setup. The OAuth issuer is `https://edgevinyl.akwigglebutts.com/api/agents/oauth`; authorization uses PKCE S256 and scope `print:prepare`. The owner signs into their original customer account and approves the connection. It lasts at most 30 minutes. Reconnect after expiry; review the original saved job in the account instead of creating a replacement to bypass uncertainty. See the [API guide](api.md).

This uses a common MCP protocol, but connector setup and attachment support vary by host. Dot, Claude, Grok and Gemini have not been live-tested by publishing this package. Do not invent manifest connector fields or claim automatic host configuration. Use the documented connector URL until a host-specific wrapper has been tested.

The [optional local helper](local-helper.md) remains version 0.2.0 with unchanged dependencies. Obtain explicit permission before dependency installation and helper execution. Keep the [artwork quality and native-file limits](artwork.md). Reading or installing the skill grants no additional execution authority.

With the owner's permission, uninstall through the host's supported manager or remove only the approved installed directory. Preserve originals, work files and receipts. Uninstalling instructions does not cancel a draft/order or revoke an independently authorized connection; revoke it in the shop account or host connection settings as supported.
